Australia and New Zealand Poker Tour (ANZPT) Final Leg Announced

Posted by : support on Monday, June 08, 2009 permalink

This week it was announced that a fifth and final leg has been added to the inaugural Australia and New Zealand Poker Tour (ANZPT). The season will end in the sunshine state of Queensland in early August.

Conrad Jupiters on the Gold Coast and Conrad Treasury in Brisbane will be joining forces for a unique format where the event will be run in both venues concurrently. ANZPT Queensland will be a 5-day poker bonanza from August 5th-9th 2009 and will be capped at 280 players plus 20 alternates. Two day one flights will be run at each venue, with the schedule, breaks and announcements synchronized across both venues, with the players coming together for the first time on Day 3 when surviving players will be transported from Brisbane to Conrad Jupiters for the conclusion of the event.

The great thing about this event is that there will be no administration fees! The entire $2,500 buy-in per player will go straight into the prize pool. What a great opportunity for players to enjoy rake-free poker!
