In thrilling fashion, Charles, the "Indomee" has just claimed the APPT Manila Package after battling for almost 7 hrs on the felt. Charles proved that he will be a force to be reckoned with in live tournament poker besides playing cash games. There was a total of 27 players for this $230 (1R & 1A) qualifier. Charles was the chip leader during the final table, his aggressive playing style had paid him off as he took down several big pots from other players. When down to 3 players, he received an additional morale booster from the Simei gang(his regular pokerkakis) and eventually crowned the title. Alvin Peh came in 2nd place taking home $2200 and our local pro Ivan Tan came in 3rd place with a prize of $1300. The previous Qualifier Champion, Clarence Poh came in 4th for $900.
