As it was still early in the tournament, I did not have much history with the villain. I flat call the raise with the intention of folding if I did not hit.

When the flop came and give me a gutshot straight draw, I decides to call the raise from the villain just to see how the hand develops. I did put villain on either a set or a TPTK. Since it was a UTG raise to 2.25, I was leaning my read more towards AA, KK, QQ, AK, AQ suited.

The turn card [4c] shows a possible flush draw. Villain decides to slow down the action and checks. Since, I am holding [Ac], with a gutshot straight draw and a flush draw bluff, I make a small raise with the intention of folding if he check raise me here or gives up if I did not hit anything on the river. If I make a big raise, I might become too pot-committed if he calls me. Villain flat calls.

The river card [8c] shows a possible flush being made. Villain checks to me, and I raise all-in. I was convinced he had TPTK already, thus I want to represent hitting the nut flush here. However, villain snap calls my shove.

Am I making a terrible play? Or did I accidentally gave anything away with my bet sizing? How would you have play this hand?
