Fred was just telling me how little SIngaporeans are in terms of participants but we have the highest ratio of people getting thru. Means we have Quality la! =) Congrats!

I try not to overuse the term but having TWO Singapore players win the Play With Team PokerStars promo is truly SICK!

I know Bryan will be excited to team-up with a fellow kaki and he'll try hard to win the event.

Thanks to everyone who participated and good luck at the Macau Poker Cup!

Hi Kakis,

Thought I'd fire a quick update on last Sunday of the Macau Poker Cup.

Nat Seet is the last standing Singaporean in the Red Dragon. He has a heathly 352,500 chips entering the final day with 23 players.

Team PokerStars Pro Bryan Huang advanced to Day 2 of the High Rollers event. There's about 30 players left and he only has 11 BB or so but I've known Bryan to do more with less in the past.

Nathanial Seet has just left Edward Yam on life support after the latter shoved all-in from the big blind on a flop after calling a Seet button raise pre-flop. Seet thought his enough to make the call for his tournament life and he was right, it was leading Yam’s .
The turn changed nothing and kept Nat firmly in the driving seat, where he stayed after hitting the river just for good measure to earn himself the double-up. Seet now up to the 450,000 while Yam is left with a bowl of rice worth 23,000 – just under two big blinds.

As of reporting time, 15 players left in MPC Red Dragon Main Event Final day and our SG, last hope, Nathaniel Seet is sitting at 5th place with half a million chips within striking distance to the joint Chips Leader, Justin Chan And Tim Luk from HK with around 700,000 chips each.

Best wishes to Nat.

Hi Kakis,

An update on my recent trip to the recent MPC in Macau.

Day 1
Event 1 $3000 HKD buy in...... Did not win a single pot, out early.
Day 2
Played a Satellite to ME and qualified for 11000hkd ME
Day 3
Event 3 $5000 HKD buy in..... Finished 14th out of 170+ players. Cashed for total 12500 HKD
Day 5
Main event $11000 hkd buy in...... Finished 24th out of 470+ players. Cashed for 29000 HKD.

Not a fruitful week for me, expectations were high for the main event to at least get to the final table. Well, cant do much when the cards dont fall your way.

Will be heading back to Sg tomorrow. Will be trying to organise a BBQ meetup back in Sg sometime soon. Will keep u guys posted once i get more details on the venue.

Cheers

Ivan was really unlucky crippled by a 2 outer.
Should have a decent chance to mount a final table charge if his hand held.
Thats poker i guess. gg

well congrats to Jessica Ngu (altho listed as Aussie) and Matt Chan both Singaporeans too who made the final table. Was hoping a SIngaporean shipped it but... it was not meant to be this time. August it will be!

Ya, I've always been confused with Jessica's country listing. I've heard Australia, US (lived in New York), and then Singapore.

We've just gone with whatever ID she's given us which is Aussie.
