Last 9 players for each session will advance to the Semi-finals. Each session will have up to 7 tables playing. That means, there will be 6 sessions x 9 players = 54 players that will advance to Semi-finals.
Semi-finals & Finals
19 Jul (Sun) Semi-finals: 14:00 hrs - until 9 players left Finals: Will start after 30 minutes once final 9 players are announced
That is all the info I have from the brochure.
What is missing is the tournament structure ... levels, timings and starting stack size, etc.
Will ask the manager the next time I drop by Poker World.
So, do join in the fun yeah ... the more the merrier!

Any idea how and when do we register ?
Lol yup. Forgot about the levy... If you time nicely can still try 24 hrs if you enter Sat Session 3 'cause if you advance to Sunday, that will be another 100 bucks! I think safer to include another $100 for Sunday since it may end later than 6pm.
You can pre-register your interest at Membership Counter but best to go Poker World first. You will need your RWS member card. Free to register anyway.
(54-9) players are supposed to bust a live tourney within the two hours following a 5x rebuy period... I know nothing about their integrity, the $150k guaranteed is literally guaranteed regardless of actual number of buyins? Or will it be fully booked anyway? When does registration for each prelim end? At what stack size can you rebuy? If there are nine or fewer players in a prelim, how do rebuys work? (Can I register from outside of the room if there are nine or fewer, I'd like to save my levy$ ) Each player is allowed to enter only one prelim session?

1) Manager said it will be guaranteed ... that's why it is called guaranteed but who knows if turnout is bad they may give us chips? terms and conditions are not clear and comprehensive. 2) Manager said the previous tourney had around 180 players. 3) Not sure about the deadline for registration or =<9 players situation 4) Yes. I believe each person can only enter one prelim session as it is not a re-entry tourney as far as I understand
Anybody can contribute if they know more about the tourney
after you finish within the top 9th in first round, does everyone who qualify to semi finals get even chips to start the semi final or you continue with the chips you have from first round?
Please take note that there are no more morning sessions. Only four sessions are going to run. Fri 230-530., 6-9 and sat 230-530 and 6-9. This means that only 36 peeps will move on to the semifinals on sunday. and 30th place will be ITM. You will carry over your existing chip stack into the semis if you are the final 9 left standing at the end of the prelim session. Blind levels are 30mins and starting is 100/200 with no running antes for the whole tourney. starting chip stack is 10k (50BB). I asked the event manager Jasper about these info. Can call him at 91902852 for more info or do a registration by phone if keen. 150k prize pool is guaranteed regardless of no of people. Its probably your own luck if less people join for that particular session.
Played in session 2 on sat and progressed to semifinals today. Got busted in 40th place with two bounty cards. Lost on a 66 vs AQ all in and opponent spiked a Q on the flop. Sigh. Well to the next tourney...
Btw prize pool has ballooned to 180000. And first prize is 50k
