PokerStars Hand #86684710731: Tournament #619153150, $2.28+$0.22 USD Hold'em No Limit - Level XX (3500/7000) - 2012/09/25 10:09:42 CCT [2012/09/24 22:09:42 ET]
Table '619153150 8' 9-max Seat #1 is the button
Seat 1: pipi486 (160397 in chips)
Seat 2: bolso71 (109603 in chips)
pipi486: posts the ante 700
bolso71: posts the ante 700
pipi486: posts small blind 3500
bolso71: posts big blind 7000
*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to pipi486 [4d 8d] 48 suited... lousy hand but u cant fold it heads up, u getting so good odds to at least call.
pipi486: calls 3500 - the pot has like 11k and u getting only 3.5k to call to fight for it, call indeed.
bolso71: raises 7000 to 14000 - weird min raise, kinda fishy... if he wants to end it a 3BB raise should be more in order
pipi486: calls 7000 - the odds are too good plus I will have position, call a must.. its heads up and we must widen our plays

*** FLOP *** [Th 5d 8s] lucky to hit a pair, since u only hit a pair 30% of the time.. but still a weak hand.
bolso71: bets 14000 - aggressor leads with a half pot bet... and we still have plenty of chips behind... is my pair good?
call here or raise? thats the question... we cant fold immediately since we aint sure we are behind
lets interpret his bet
1) a continuation bet, he missed the flop with 2 high cards like KJ or A9 kind hand
2) a value bet, AT,KT,A8 makes sense... stuff like K5,K8,A5 are unlikely since he raised be preflop
well that's about it! since there's no draw on the board... either he has a better pair or is just holding high cards
here my normal play is to make a small raise and win the pot straight, i will make an easy fold if he comes over the top.

pipi486: raises 21000 to 35000
bolso71: calls 21000 - flat call when there's no draw on the board... very weird indeed
*** TURN *** [Th 5d 8s] [3c] - I'm pretty sure the 3 on the turn is a blank card
bolso71: bets 59903 and is all-in - looks like a stop-turn-go move... his action doesn't make sense, if he had like AT which i fear he would had got in on the flop or suck bet me on this nice turn.. something like a 25k or 30k bet on the turn looks more right for AT.
pipi486: calls 59903 - I think he doesnt have the T
*** RIVER *** [Th 5d 8s 3c] [2d]
*** SHOW DOWN ***
bolso71: shows [Kd 9s] (high card King) - was expecting something like A9 or A5 that i could beat, in fact he played badly on all streets with K9 and that's how we gain EV in poker ^^
pipi486: shows [4d 8d] (a pair of Eights)
pipi486 collected 219206 from pot
bolso71 finished the tournament in 2nd place and received $82.08.
pipi486 wins the tournament and receives $123.19 - congratulations!
*** SUMMARY ***

Seat 1: pipi486 (button) (small blind) showed [4d 8d] and won (219206) with a pair of Eights
