How about opening up a poker room along Orchard Blvd?, but I guess this would be a tall order considering the strict laws in Singapore.

I ever thought of traveling down to china to set up my own underground casinos but lack of partnership, capital and contacts.
High risk but could be very rewarding LOL

Normally, people would always think of doing their own business with the thinking that they are going to earn better with it. And true enough, being establish on it would really mean that you will be having more chances at getting richer as compared to keeping up with your regular 9 to 5.

But there are only a few people who really get their vision to materialize and the biggest problem when doing so is when you do not have that much money on hand to work with.

Old thread got resurrected.

Anyway, have anybody thought of starting some form of initiative to give back to society from their poker winnings? Since any profit from gambling are not being taxed, this could be one of the reasons the Government is trying to curb online gambling.

If winning players can come together to start some form of initiatives. To remind the public that Poker is a game that don't rely solely on luck, thus there are players who are consistent winners.

I humbly suggest to host some local poker tournaments and competitive gaming tournaments where winners will receive a scholarship to related courses such as Psychology or E-Sports.

It's more about being out there in the open rather than hiding behind and smile when we ship in a big online tournament.
