How frustrating can this be?

Postby NOTNobody » Wed Sep 25, 2013 11:02 pm

I knew I am going to lose before it even gets to showdown. People just don't want to leave me alone when I flopped the best hand, it's kinda a sign that they're going to river something awesome to make the wrong call become the best decision.

Probably bad beats really happen so systematically that you know you will be losing with just about any premium hands. The worst is they let your premium hands improve so you will lose BIG!

As I play 2 or 3 tables only, when I lose on all 2 to 3 tables within a matter of minutes, it definitely affects my game and so I am here to rant before I go all crazy!

In this hand, I wasn't that worried about someone having [9, 10]. Even if someone really have it, then I will just have to pay them off for flopping the cooler.

What worries me initially, was [9, 9] and [10, 10]. Make a big raise trying to chase them away, and I believe I succeeded. Thereafter, I was praying for the board not to show any over cards (for fear of a higher set). When the 9 showed up on the river, I almost spill my coffee.

I know it happens, but just need to let off some steam. Just went for a shower, now cool down liao. :D

In this hand, I believe it's partially because I didn't have enough money to get him to lay down his draw.

in the long run, they are going to lose when they play like that anyway, so why be angry? they are gonna give you back your money sooner or later. making the best decision is all that matters, you cant control the outcome
