But if you think about it sometimes "professional poker players" are just lucky thats all.
I mean people like jamie gold you don't see them consistently winning.
I think the real pros are really those that have something remarkable rather than just a WSOP ME 1 time win.
Maybe its just me cause i don't like jamie gold lol.

Jamie Gold is a pretty impressive player. But i personally feel he's not great with cash games. He's more to a tournament style kinda player. He's able to work his moves best then. Then again he loves talkin to his opponents tryin to make em make the wrong move.

why do you guys always think jamie gold won the ME due to luck? You guys only saw the later parts of him on tv but did you guys watch the start? to even be lucky he has to have skill in order to be where he is. comeon, luck box his way 1st hand to last hand? funny

Jamie is a gold fish~ super contributor to high stakes poker
His bluffs are so stupid, like check-calling down then suddenly betting the river and getting caught with his obvious weak hands.
When pros like phil ivey or gus hansen make big river bluffs its usually when the conditions are right.
Like the opponent showing weakness + they have been betting the flop/turn aggressively and shown strength.

Jamie = world best bluffer (bluffing his money off the tables that is)

He was the champ for awhile :) But, in terms of the big name pros, he's not that good.
