They (PokerStars) are blocking everyone playing from Singapore, so it doesn't matter if you live somewhere else.

Real money play is not allowed while you are physically located in Singapore from February 2, 2015. This restriction is due to Singapore’s Remote Gambling Act and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Players who attempt to play for real-money from Singapore with the aid of Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) or other technical workarounds will lose their playing privileges and/or funds in their account in accordance with Section 5.11 of the PokerStars Terms of Service.

Following the introduction of the Remote Gambling Act by the Singapore Government, we are no longer able to offer gambling related services to our customers residing in Singapore. Gambling operators are now ceasing to accept transactions from Singapore residents and as such, effective immediately, you will no longer be able to make payments to any gambling operator.

Any remaining funds in your gambling accounts must be withdrawn before Friday 6th March 2015 or they will be blocked in accordance with this legislation.

Should you have any questions in regard to this, please get in touch with the Skrill Help Team by telephone on +44 203 514 5562 (Monday to Sunday from 9am to 6pm) or email help@skrill.com

Thank you for your co-operation.
