Make each season's points only take into account the best of 8. So due to schedule, one can still miss 1/3 of the tourney.

it's not fair to all players. some people don't play $400 buyin while that buyin is awarded with higher points.

I suggest a strong focus on -> online tournaments.. . This is for the convenience of players AND organizers.

The red blue white thing is a very good suggestion. But being the first season maybe just keep things simple.

Both Online and LIVE events.

Live events should be done less often because of the logistic PROBLEMS and what not. HOWEVER, if we get a VERY VERY VERY Excellent turn out and response, I have the following suggestion:

If we have like more than 50 players interested in playing. We can do the following.

Every month we can have Day 1A, 1B and 1C on the 1st,2nd and 3rd week. Day 2 / Final table can be done on 4th Week. The buy in should be larger... and a better structure introduced. It would be wierd to have a turbo here and a decent structure online. --> Reason for spreading out the LIVE games is the logistic problems AND the problems of players coming down for particular tournaments. This helps solve both problems.

Because of the live - play spread out on every weekend (preferbly Sat/Sun just one day please) we can have the online games on an alternative time, OR limit players to the online tournaments thrice a month or something.

Online tournaments is important. We can do 2 regular, 1 deep stack and one rebuy over a month. OR just do one regular one. Anything is fine, just find a good time. Also, I can provide banking for new sign ups. Will help guys get money in and out quickly. Easy peasy.

Something along those lines... Simple, Do-able, Realistic.

$400 is just a number i puck from the sky, let the oragniser make some survey and decide on the final $ buy-in.

i suggested the RED GAME buy-in of $400 due to i do take into the consideration that it is a 2-in-1 live game (our own league game cum satellite to MAJOR POKER event), if the buy-in is too low the oragniser might not be able to come out with a package for the winner to go APPT Macau or Seoul....etc.

"Different game award different points", all sport have there own ranking to their own tournament, the more important ones like A tournament always award player with bigger prize money and higher ranking points, that's a fact.

Some top players will even skip B and C tournaments to aviod injury and they still ranked high up there. Top Player like Ivan, Joshua, Bryan ...etc can just win few RED GAME and can stay away from lower game and they can still be in the Year end final table. For good player but find it too tough to fork out $400, they can start at lower buy-in game, win their bankroll from there then escalate to the higher games.

Sad to say, the Game of Poker do needed some bankroll, if anyone wanted to be KING of POKER in Singapore, you must have some investment money to start up with.

Are there gonna be prize $ pay-out per league game?

Or are all the $ gonna be rolled to the final table?

for me i also would prefer a live tournament

but the points brought up by some of the kakis are very true, the logistics to a live tournament will be huge.. unless there is a committee to plan for such an event, an online tournament is more practical
