How to start playing Hold'em as a Singaporean?

Postby DottMySaviour » Thu Nov 26, 2015 5:15 pm

The Singapore's government recently made online gambling illegal and I heard that Hold'em isn't popular in Singapore's casino. Furthermore, Singaporeans have to pay an entry fee to enter the casinos. I'm only 18 this year and have only played Hold'em on social games like Zynga's Texas Poker. I've read a lot about Hold'em, so I won't be completely blur if I start playing with real money. I just want to give it a try to see if I have the ability to play Hold'em well.

If I have the chance to play with real money, I want to start when I'm 21. Now, I want to know how should I begin even if it means I have to travel. Also, any valuable advice/heads-up (no pun intended) would be appreciated.
