PokerStars Game #25427197953: Hold'em No Limit ($0.25/$0.50) - 2009/02/27 20:21:59 ET
Table 'Nata IV' 6-max Seat #4 is the button
Seat 1: Frenkz ($52.30 in chips)
Seat 2: Chris Arz ($37.25 in chips)
Seat 3: WüPoker ($34.25 in chips)
Seat 4: TheTresaure ($39.80 in chips)
Seat 5: pipi486 ($50 in chips)
Seat 6: ptshirt ($36.65 in chips)
pipi486: posts small blind $0.25
ptshirt: posts big blind $0.50
*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to pipi486 [Ts Ks]
Frenkz: folds
Chris Arz: folds
WüPoker: folds
TheTresaure: calls $0.50

Don't really have much stats on button, but he looks like an awful and passive player limping on the button. good players eitehr raise for the steal or fold.

KT is decent here to play but not strong enough to raise 5xbb since it has poor equity vs A/x hands and is fairly easy to get dominated by other strong K/x hands.
Would need at least KJ+ here to raise.

pipi486: calls $0.25

I would usually complete here with any Ace, any king, Q9+ , any SC and 1 gapper. The pot odds are good for flopping a big hand.

ptshirt: checks
*** FLOP *** [Td As Js]

3rd pair + ISD + FD is great. I would play this hand very aggressively.
I judge that I have at least 40-50+% equity here, since against a set is highly not possible. I'm more like to be against single pair hands like K/x A/x or maybe at most against 2 pair AT. Maybe adding some inside straight draws into their hands too.

A pot size bets looks good to build the pot, if they both fold things are also great.

pipi486: bets $1.50
ptshirt: folds
TheTresaure: calls $1.50

A passive call here on such a drawish board... it makes me feel like he is either keeping the pot small with a weak Ace or is drawing to the straight or flush.

*** TURN *** [Td As Js] [Qh]
Wooo very nice turn card, giving me the straight.
What would you do here?
bet? how much?

I think the best way to extract EV here is to shove, so why??

1) if he is A/x , x being 9 or lower. He's gonna fold unless I bet realy really small.
2) if he drew to the inside straight with a K, we now both have the nut straight. But the difference being that I have a flush draw now!
3) if I bet 1/2 pot and he calls, hitting the flush on the river, I might not get paid off well

Concluding that my best chance of making some real $$ is that he also has the nut striaght and he will definitely call my shove if so. Therefore giving me a free shot at stacking him off the river if I get lucky with my FD.

pipi486: bets $48 and is all-in
TheTresaure: calls $37.80 and is all-in
Uncalled bet ($10.20) returned to pipi486
*** RIVER *** [Td As Js Qh] [Qs]
*** SHOW DOWN ***
pipi486: shows [Ts Ks] (a Royal Flush)
TheTresaure: mucks hand
pipi486 collected $77.10 from pot
