Hi,

Will be leaving office pretty late on Friday and havent done this cruise thing before, so just trying to nail down the logistics so that no hiccups. From what I understand on the forum, I need to reach Harbourfront (cruise counter at level 3) by 6:00 pm on Friday, buy a return ferry ticket to the MV Long Jie Asian Cruise (cost S$60) and jump on the ferry leaving at 7:20 pm.

At the ship, I go to the cash counter, use the ferry ticket to redeem S$50 and buy in for S$300. From there, game on! Now, assuming I will get knocked out in the first hour or so, will there be more poker going on? When is the last ferry back on Friday night (9:45 pm)? Can I book a cabin onboard (subject to availability of course)?

Finally, does the ship dock ot Harbourfront on Saturday morning? What time? If not, the first ferry is at 8:50 am, right?

Regarding the Friday and Saturday tournament, what % of total players would be ITM?
Sorry for the long post, and thanks
--Ankur.

Hi Ankur,

My first time there so not sure about the exact details but what I know is that:

1) U can book a cabin on a first come first served basis, call Asian Cruise International @ 63764390 to get details. Rates are on the first post (Not sure whether onboard u can book but Im sure a call would reveal everything).
2) Read that the ship docks at Harbourfront only on Tuesday. So last ferry out to HF on friday is at 945pm or first ferry on Sat will be at 7am.
3) There will be $3/$5 ring games or $100 SNGs if you want more poker action after the tourney.
4) ITM should be top 10% as mentioned by Bro Ikelos.

If you taking the 720pm ferry, remember to reach the customs gate by 650pm latest!
And please bring passports!!

Cheers and all the best!

I am not so sure though, but I heard there was a FL cash table running during the previous tourney.

Hi all,

This is just out. The Long Jie has generously agreed to throw in extra prizes for the top 4 players in Friday Night's event.

The champion and the runner-up will each win 2 nights free accommodation in Long Jie's suites.

The third and fourth place finisher will each win 2 nights free accommodation in Long Jie's deluxe rooms.

Winners will be able to claim these prizes for next month's tournaments, or for any subsequent trip up to the Long Jie.
