I honestly felt my Queens were good but then that Ace had to come at the turn and it totally screwed things up for me. oldDbutgoodD seemed to be a loose aggressive player to me so i called, knowing that he probably had at least an Ace in his hand. I was still two places from the bubble, needed to double up quick, and my chip count wasn't very healthy, so I called.

Should I have taken that risk?

i realised i could simply call first, see the low flop then insta-shove. would that be better?
