just finished a homegame today wif another $50 down the drain due to a major suckout.
UTG raised wif AQo mid pos called wif A9spades n i called in the sb wif 97c
flop = 9h 8d 7h
i leadout betting 4/5 pot size utg raises n mid pos reraises. at this point theres abt 10-$12 in the pot n i decide its healthy enough n i want to stop all draws.
i move in for 46.60 AQ folds n A9 mulls n mulls saying its gonna be a super donk call but makes it aniway
turn n river come 2 Qs to default my 7s T_T

well you had 70% equity. think of it this way, if u face the same situtation 10 times, you'll expect to lose 3 times. So this is one of the three that you are supposed to lose.

feel better now? =P

Haha - in my personal experience, this doesn't make you feel better until at least 24 hours after the hand. Then it starts to help :geek:

But it does reinforce a key poker rule- even good decisions are not always rewarded
