Tracking my progress

Postby verysinister » Sat May 30, 2009 12:11 am

Hi kakis,

Let me give a brief introduction of myself, I am 18 this year and schooling in Ngee Ann poly. I love to play RTS games like warcraft 3 and is now eager for starcraft 2 :D .

Started playing poker like this year after my birthday on early march and is playing on full tilt.

Started this post to track my progress of my bankroll which is now standing @ 99.71 after selling most of it to my frens. Here are my plans for the time being

-Grind up my bankroll playing shortstack @ nl 10 and progress to nl25 @ $150 bankroll , nl50 @ $300
-Continue to move up and start to play full stack in nl10 @ % 500 bankroll
-Start to play live games once my bankroll reach $1000, preferably nl50 live games

Long term
-Maybe able to support myself in basic ways like not taking any pocket money from parents and bus concessions etc. :D
-Reach 10k at the end of this year!!(maybe a little hard, i know)

I will be posting my progress at least twice a week and maybe with graphs, hope all kakis will support=D

i think u shud keep ur bankroll at least 10 times...

nl25 at 250bankroll at least
nl50 at 500 at least or more would be good

nl50 at 300bankroll is far too little,u will be too scared to lose ur money and wont be able properly,u might get a few bad beat and lose a few bankroll if u're unlucky and u will go crazy for sure,so try make ur bankroll 10 times at least..

for me,i keep it 20 times...

Im buying in for the minimum as i said...playing as a shortstack...so the minimum on nl 25 is $5 so i would have 30 BIs with a 150 Bankroll and so on for nl50

for me

Cash game.. BB x 50
SNG/MTT... Buyin X 25

the eagerness to go all out if ur bankroll is less than 50 is so dangerous.. am a victim of this all the time..
