Hi Hyori,

you can play with $50 without buying in extra however it depends on the blinds of the game. The minimum buy-in when I played there a month ago was 25x the big blind. So that would mean that you would be able to play a 1/2 game which happens once in a while. Another thing to take note is that the game breaks up very fast and is very inconsistent. If you're there and there's no game going on, you can approach the poker room manager and ask him to start a game for you. That would mean that you would have to wait for players.

One last thing. I wouldn't recommend playing there unless you're really good or are really rich. I've seen some people play very loose and they have no trouble bluffing $300 to $400 and rubbing it in your face afterwards. Good luck!

Do I need to book in advance? Or can I just buy a ticket at harbour front?

There should be at least one game going during peak periods right? (Thursday/friday nights, weekends, etc..) 9:45pm ferry departure seems kinda early though. Anyone go to play poker on a regular basis? I'm thinking go during friday evening and playing through to saturday night if the game stays alive for long enough.

What is the rake % and cap?

You can book the ticket at harbour front.
There are players playing there most of the time.
Short handed during weekdays and full ring on weekends.
5% rake with CAP of $30 bucks.

Ride is about 2 hrs.
There is always a poker game going on there.
Stake for BJ/Bacc is min $10.
