Postby Afternoon » Tue Jul 14, 2009 11:25 am

In case kakis here need 又平,又青,又near MRT hotel during APT/APPT.

The following is recommended:-

1)Metropark Hotel, downtown area, about 10 mins to Grand Lisboa, cheapest available in town. All other major casinos are around the corner, like Starworld, Wynn, MGM are within 5-10 mins walking distance.

Price range during these period : HKD$480 / 540 / 800, Sun-Thur / Fri / Sat respectively

2) Hotel Beverly Plaza Macau, downtown area, about 5 mins walk to Lisboa Grand. The nearest 4 stars hotel at the reasonable rate. Same like Metro park, all other major casinos are around the corner, like Starworld, Wynn, MGM are within 5-10 mins walking distance. This hotel is more ideal for kakis who do not wish to stay too far from Grand Lisboa with extra tens of dollars.

Price range during these period : HKD$550 / 760 / 850, Sun-Thur / Fri / Sat respectively

Stayed in Beverly Plaza the last time.. solid hotel, have LCD tv and furnishings are quite modern and new. Most importantly, FREE INTERNET!!! so u can grind online....

Bad point: Mattress rather hard. Those who like soft mattress like me... gd luck!

I know someone who has an apartment in Macau. It has two bedrooms, plus a large sofa. So can sleep up to 5 adults. Cost would depend upon number of kakis interested- definitely cheaper than the hotels mentioned above.

If anyone cares, let me know today itself. Any questions, PM me please.

If you use google map on Macau, you can see, the apt is located at 43 Rua de Central, just next to the St. Augustine Church, very near to the Grand Emperor Hotel and Sintra Hotel.

Per night for 1 room, $700 HKD (fri to sunday)

2 Rooms (upto 4 players in total)
Per night for 2 rooms, $900 HKD (monday to thurs)
Per night for 2 rooms, $1300 HKD (fri to sunday)

2 Rooms + sofa (entire apt, essentially)
Per night $1,100 (monday to thurs)
Per night $1,500 (fri to sunday)

Note the apt has a full bathroom, full kitchen with all the cooking appliances, every room has aircon. The prices are not very attractive even for a short stay in Macau.
Might as well stay in hotel better.
An apartment for whole month only cost around HKD$6-7K.

You have a monthly or weekly rate? Like what DM101 said the rates given aren't really much better compared to hotels.

These are not my rates, and its not my apartment. Someone asked about pvt apartment and I knew about this place, hence the post. I am sure the owner would have a monthly/weekly rate. What are you looking for- 1 room, 2 rooms or the whole apartment?
