Guess his hand??

Postby dsasdfg » Thu Jul 16, 2009 11:57 am

I was playing in Wynn, Macau few days ago and got this hand. Please comment and I will reveal his cards later.

10/25 game - my stack was around 5k HKD, I cover villian's stack.

hole cards delt to me [Ad] [Qc]

I bet 125, villian called..

Flop came [Tc] [Ac] [6c] , I bet 300, villian raise to 1000 (he is quite tight on his plays). I think for a while and called. Turn came [8c] , i shove and he instant called. River came a [5c] ..

[9c] [7c] :D

He probably hit on flop with low flush...
Install called when he thinking of straight flush then hit the 5?

Either that or he just whack AA.

He got [Kc] [9s].. He trying to make the pot bigger by raising. I lost 4k HKD on this one game. Should I shove all in when he raise me? Did I play this badly by shoving in on the turn?

i put him on [Kc] seeing he instant called your all in at the turn..... That was before reading your post... thought he had like KTo with the [Kc] or somethin like that.

I think he captialise on his tight image that he carrys with him throughout the game. By raising you on the flop (with no hand but the chance of hitting a club to make the nut flush?) I feel he must be hoping that his tight image will make you fold instead of betting. If you did fold, he will be happy cos he won with a drawing hand as compared to a made hand.

So bottomline was he raise you in a hope that you will fold cos of the image he carrys but not without some consideration that he will have outs to his draw to....

Hm....jus my humble inputs..haha..

Oh and you didnt play badly man....top pair with the second best flush draw possibility....defintely not a wrong play in my opinion. =)
