The dilemma i had was I wanted to get maximum value for my Aces so I allowed the big stack in as well. 3 ways I was thinking I should be good.... but alas... i was the weakest.

Tats poker!

So how do you guys play your aces... shove max preflop? Or try to get slight value by allowing a few others in?

I would play this way. ;)
not too sure whether its correct though.

if table super loose, big raise/ re-reraise from any position.

Normal play for me is late position will standard raise, if someone raise, i will re-raise.
early position, i may limp or standard raise, limp to hope someone will raise, then re-raise.
if no one raise.. sian man.. but that is risk i am willing to take sometimes.

yes, i want to get value.
i wont shove Aces bcos i have a tight image,. too obvious.

yaya
i say depends on player and position pa.
if very loose have to raise more because AA is not a very good hand against too many players.
and more than 3 is already quite dangerous le.

and hopefully you're the type of player who can lay down their AA when you know your opponent have you beat :P
