Pokerstars!

Postby alvinm » Sat Dec 12, 2009 4:34 pm

I've been playing pokerstars for the last 6 months, things was running normal..but for the last 2 days i've been getting suck out like hell! i've never run so bad in my entire Poker journey! Aces keep getting crack! Keep flopping sets for donno how many times but theres another higher set!! Nutz on the flop keep getting suck out in the river! Other players keep calling with some stupid hands and got stupid runner runner!

For example,

Blind was 50 100. I(1900 chips) have [Js] [Ks] on the button and i was planning to raise, but another fella(1950 chips) raise first to 400 so I just flat call. Flop [Qs] [5c] [3d] and he bet 200,i keep thinking and I'm 90% sure he miss, so I decided to make a move and went all in. He called and I was thinking ok he might have a smaller pocket and I'm ready to accept it. On show down he only got [Jc] [2c] !!!! I was like 'HUH'?!?! but he hit runner runner flush!! IT WAS SO SICK!!!! WHY DOES HE CALLED THE ALMOST ALL IN INTHE FIRST PLACE?? i really wonder?!

Another example case,

Ring Game. I'm in BB position with [Ks] [Kc] , in pre flop there was raise and re raise and on my turn i go all in..2 players called, 1 was [Jc] [Jh] and another one was [2d] [5d] ! we all got quite similar chip stacks.. flop [2c] [5h] [Ah] then turn [Ts] river [9c] . the most zero become hero!

there are alot other hands i encounter for the pass few days and i'm really bleeding money like HELL in pokerstars!
guess im gonna stop Pokerstars and go to other poker website soon!

Mr Variance has knocked on your door.
Learn to accept it and embrace it as I always said.
Do you think by changing to another site will help? Hehehe that's so naive of you.
Face it like a man dude.
Perhaps you can take a break and come back to play on ps another day.

you would want them to do it every single time , in the long time u would benefit from that sort of play

As someone who grinded ever so slowly from 2NL to now 25NL, I can only say is, "Get used to variance now when the stakes are low. It will keep happening as your move up!"
