Pre-Flop
2 players called on a raise of $6 by player X.

X: ( No idea what hand )
Y: ( [5h] [6h] )
Me: ( [Qs] [7s] )

Flop:
[4h] [7h] [4c]

Player X bets overpot of $25
I flat call
Y flat call

Turn:
[7d]
Player X checks
I bet $75
Y re-raised all in $100+
Player X Folds
I called his all in

River:
[3h]

the [8h] was with my boyfriend and he was left with 1 outer....

super bad beat for me. hahahah. couldn't remember exactly how the action went but eventually Player Y & I went all in. =/

no way you are folding overfull , lose to straight flush is no shame
if u wanted to fold , you would have credited him with trip 4s and folded on the flop , not on the turn.

Flop -Villain ahead 51% to 49%.
Assuming flop pot is $20.

Turn - Hero bet $75 into a pot of $95.
Hero now ahead 95% to 5%.. assuming no one knows your bf has the [8h] .

Maybe he puting you on some high cards, means he thinks you do not have 4 or 7 which he is only slightly ahead OR you have a pair means he still have abt 35% chance.

His all in is not going to make you fold.. so basically he just want to gamble with you.

so sorry to hear about this bad beat. did you spout vulgarities?
