Hi people,

Thanks for noticing my actions in Manilia, it's such a surprise a small tournie like this gets such good coverage.

I'm enjoying the games here in Manilia where the buy in is cheap and the stakes are deep. Can you imagine 25,000 starting stack, 100 - 100 blinds 30 mins level for a 5400 peso (appx S$150) tournie?

Even the sattelites to the APPT here is good value. For 3000 peso (less than 100 SGD) you have a two seats gurantee satt to the APPT manila ME valued at US$2700 each. And you get 10,000 starting stack, 50-100 blinds and 30 min levels.

Please continue to rail me tomorrow at 5pm at

http://asia.pokernews.com/live-reportin ... d-in/day2/

I'm aiming top 3 as it gives a seat to the APPT, which is what I'm gunning for.

Thanks for all your support guys once again!

Let the Singapore flag fly at the BIG ACE in Manila tomorrow.

Cheers!

Norbert Koh Eliminated in Third Place (Php 125,000 + Php 50,000)
We are down to heads-up play after our latest elimination.

Pre-flop, Norbert Koh moved all-in from the button with his remaining stack.

"Is that a move or a favour?" asked Mark Pagsuyuin in the small blind.

He made the call and when Bong Gloria got out of the way, the cards were tabled.

Mark: [As] [Kd]
Norbert: [Qd] [5s]

Norbert was indeed just making a move but was still drawing with live cards.

However, nothing came for him as the blanked out for both players, busting Norbert out in third place.

For the win, Norbert wins a PAGCOR Chairman's Cup seat worth Php 125,000 and Php 50,000 in cash.

Thank you all for the support once again!

Unfortunately I became the wooden spoonist in this tournie which I hoped to actually win.

But, I can't complain I guess, I got the APPT seat I wanted and granted that I was card dead the entire time, this is actually a good result.

Special thanks to MJFX for his encouraging updates as well as his congratuarly SMS after reading the news.

Great to know my partner in crime babyroti is joining me in Manila for the APPT.

Thanks everyone once again and till then, pass me the sugar!

Cheers!
