Athlete's foot is another word for Tinea! Not really as Fungus Eliminator Review glamorous, as the name would suggest. It is a fungal infection of the skin which is easily picked up from public areas, such as public bathing areas, showers, bathrooms etc. Although the name suggests that only the feet can be affected, athlete's foot, can in fact, attack any part of the body. Tinea thrives in a hot, moist area of the body, hence why it most commonly affects the toes and hidden folds of skin. Other places in which tinea can affect are the groin and underneath the breasts.

Symptoms linked with athlete's foot or tinea are itching, stinging, reddening, a scaly rash and in more serious cases cracks, splits and blisters may also appear in the skin or crease of the skin, ie; such as toes where dead skin accumulates. Preventing the development of Tinea is not as easy as it may seem. Maintaining good hygiene is paramount. Ensure you dry your body thoroughly after bathing and using public changerooms ie: swimming pools. It is especially important to ensure that the area in between the toes and in any folds of skin such as under the breasts are thoroughly dried.

Allow clean fresh air to regularly cover the areas that have folds of skin over them, such as the breasts and toes. Take your shoes off and let the air through the toes. Always make sure you that you always wear your thongs whenever you are in a communal changing room; this will help to prevent you from picking up the infection from other people. Go for a walk on the beach, barefooted and let the salt water rush through. This is an excellent way to flush out bacteria.
