He decided to slowplay his trip jacks, was it the right decision for him? If he bet and I don't have a hand I would fold, the only way I would call is if I have a hand. So, either way he will be losing. Maybe he should've considered the possibility of a straight and don't go all-in?

I was worried for a second that he might have AJ, but he didn't raise preflop, and he had position. I was surprised that he had KJ, was putting him on something like TJ or 9J

he should just raise PF and take the blinds
on the flop , he should bet too , to chase away the flush drawers / get value from lower jacks / Ace / pp

rarely you should slowplay
Conditions you should slow play : u got the nuts vs an aggressive guy / manaic , so you can let him hang himself . a lot of chips is already in the pot , so the pot is large enough for you to check 1 or 2 streets ( like there is 200 in the pot , both stacks left like 190)
