MY AMAZING BAD BEAT EVER!!!

Brag about the good, vent over the bad.

MY AMAZING BAD BEAT EVER!!!

Postby DM101 » Mon Mar 03, 2008 3:04 am

Ever since I started playing online poker, I must say that this is my fastest bad beat with my best preflop hole cards.
Omfgbbqpwnt..... really amazed by this hand.
Just imagine after some hardwork, we managed to save or grind enuff money for our trip to L Vegas to buy in USD$10000 for the WSOP main event.
Being excited to meet up some pros and having a good feeling being a part of the main event.

Took your seat and ready to start playing your very first hand at the small blind position.
While shuffling the WSOP chips, the dealer dealt your hole cards....
Next moment a maniac at hijack position ALL IN all his stack....
as u looked at your hole cards..........WOW ...u got ROCKETS for your freaking 1st hand...guess must be your lucky Day 1a :D
So you shoved ALL IN too...
Next moment you packed up and head back to Singapore. lol

This is really the funniest bad beat of my poker by far. I can't help laughing to myself for almost 1 minute.

I understand bad beats are always part of poker. But this bad beat gotta be a memorable one for me.

Please enjoy my 1st hand bad beat folks...

Dun forget to see the 3rd post after ohboy's post folks

standard hands, just gotta get over it
U should be glad that they are calling or pushing all in PF when you have aces. You will want this situation EVERYTIME, even if you lose out on badbeats some of the times.

Yes its sick cus its a tourney, thats why I prefer cash. Your edge and decisions over a longer period correlates more closely to your results in cash games. Whereas in tourneys, the big payoffs only come once in a while. It can be demoralizing and sapping when you know you are making the right plays, and not getting the results that you want in critical situations.
