Hi all,

New guy here interested in the tourney and have some questions.

1. For Day 1A the tourney last 6.5h?

2. For Day 2 the tourney start 11am?

3. What is the structure of the tourney? Starting stack? Blind level?

Is this standard for LWPS? Do you guys usually go back mainland or stay on the cruise for day 2(provided you made it)?

Yes the day 1 flights last roughly that duration.

Correct

Starting blinds 25/50, starting stack 7000

You can stay overnight regardless, since there are cash games, sit n gos running from the evenings. There is a side event on Sunday as we'll.

Yes there will be cash games onboard. Usually $1/$2 with a min 50bb and max 200bb buy in.

if you exceed the stipulated time frame there will be an extension charge of $20. If you're still onboard about 5pm it usually means you're deep in either the Main Event or Head-Hunter, so don't worry about the extension charge =]

heard the food on the cruise is quite sucky.
Is there any chance where we can purchase instant noodles instead?

Plus from stage 1a/1b to stage 2, is the chips accumulative from the first round to second round or there will be re-distribution of chips?

heard from my friend there is no cash game nor sit & go. anyone verify on that?

Yes instant noodles are readily available.

you start day 2 with the chips you ended with on day 1a/b.

there are always cash games and sit n gos on demand during tournament days.

Hey guys, I will be going for LWPS for the first time in the coming few weeks and just had some questions

1) I understand you can get $300 NN chips and there will be a rebate of the ferry fare. Is it practical to roll these chips to cash chips given that we are going for the LWPS? Does it take a lot of time? I have not done rolling before, but I read it on an earlier post. Is it hard to actually do it? It looks simple from the description on viewtopic.php?f=110&t=3085

2) Is it practical to go without a cabin for a single pax? ie, noise/comfort. I understand it's just the lounge seats and all. It's probably not wise to suffer for the night to save the dollars if it affects the game the next day (assuming that we actually get into day 2. Haha!)

3) Day 1A starts at 1pm, so I guess the 10am/11am ferry should be fairly safe?

4) Day 2 starts at 11am the following day? Or has this changed

5) If we don't take a cabin, are there toilets to shower/freshen up?

1)Rolling not advisable.
2)Take Cabin more comfortable.
3)Take 8 or 9am ferry to play freeroll.
4)Day 2 start 11am
5)No toilets for u for shower.

Ah.. Okok thanks for the quick answers!

Do you suggest we wait till the day itself to book the rooms on board? In case we don't make it to day 2 anyway. And perhaps can find another kaki to bunk a room with?

I understand there are limited rooms though.

Why is rolling not advisable? Takes too long?
