Would a 3bet at the flop be better? Cause he seems wanna bluff away the small pot, if success he might fall into trap and go all in.

i think calling on the flop was a good play, as hero has position and there is more value in villain trying to bluff away the pot post-flop as shown. once he hit his Q-high flush, there's no way he's gonna exit that pot.
