Hello guys.

Are the poker rooms still running?

What is the smallest stake table?

And are there any rebates that we could enjoy?

Hey was hoping someone could share some info. I've been calling Longjie's ticketing hotline to enquire but no one picks up :(

Basically want to know the following:
- How much is the ferry ticket
- Just head over to the ticketing counter in Harbourfront centre to purchase?
- Are there rebates for the ticket when you play in the casino?
- How long is the ride there?
- Feasible to go there at say 11am, then leave late at maybe 10pm? No need to get a room that way...
- CNY ferry schedule
- Availability of Texas Hold'em
- How busy are the tables etc.

Thanks :S

Hi there,

I would suggest better off playing home games than going to Long Jie to play. 1st of all they are probably only going to get a game on like 3 hours a day and it is going to be short handed. Secondly the 5% rake will eat you alive playing shorthanded. Thirdly the journey to the boat is really strenuous and time consuming if you are just going there to play for like 2-3hrs.

Ultimately you are not going to get a decent poker game onboard, of course you get the occasional fishes that swim in. But your best bet is to frequent the home games in SG if your aim is to play poker. There are more than enough fishes at the lower levels to go around.

Cheers

Thanks for the tip 8ivan8.

Perhaps you're right, but I do intend to check out the other amenities and food as well as I will be there with family, maybe it won't be so bad overall heh.
