Hi Everyone,

I am Jonathan and I am relatively new to Poker, been playing for about just under 1 year. Learnt the game through a friend who's been a great mentor and friend. I currently am the owner of the meetup group, Poker Fanatics Singapore, at http://www.meetup.com/1532/ and we have live NL Holdem 2/4 games twice every week, mostly on Mondays and Fridays.

Interested Parties can check out the link, http://www.meetup.com/1532/ and register yourself as a member, once you are on our mailing lists, you be informed of weekly games and timings. It's completely free to join the group, looking forward to meeting other great players of Poker.... see you at the tables.....

Cheers,

For a full definition of rake, please refer to the following Wikipedia article,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rake_%28poker%29

We only collect a small percentage of the pot if there is a flop in the first place to cover the food and drinks for everyone.... not as per your full blown rake....

you take rake for every pot?! :o :o :o
wouldn't just taking like $2 be sufficient.. Unless you're like serving wisky and a international buffet..

Not every pot.... just pots that you see the flop.... and above a certain amount.... haha... I think you are mistaken.... and the percentage we take is very minimal unlike casino which is 5 to 10 percent....
