Personal Recorded Poker Session. How much will you pay?

Postby typrobin » Mon Dec 27, 2010 2:31 pm

Dear all,

While all online games allow us to view our opponents hole cards (after a showdown), our brick and mortar games do not. We can only second guess our opponents cards and left wondering why the hell he called our raise but folded on the river. I believe most of us here (except the pros like Bryan Ivan and gang) will never be able to have a chance to be featured in a poker game broadcast.

Assuming an overnight game (maybe 10hours), how much are you willing to pay for a dvd compilation of live games that you've played? much like the videos of high stakes poker, less the commentary. of cos the quality will not be as good but you will be able to get info such as opponents' hole cards, betting sequence and pot size. It will be raw footages, not much heavy editing.
We are looking at $1/$2 game (most common) or maybe the likes of a Leisure World Tournament, Sit n Go's or Cash Games.

a) $60 - $80
b) $80 - $100
c) $100 - $120

assuming u play 30 hands/hr,10 hours= 300 hands.a 5bb/100 winner would make about $30 at $1/$2nl.do people really make $100 a night at home games?

I'm not too sure bout the BB calculations, but based on my experience, thousands change hands every night. just imagine the rakes that are gg to the house. this rakes are your money as well.

I'm just curious how much are poker players willing to pay for such extensive information that you will never be able to get.

FYI , its cheating no matter from what angle you see it , its not uncommon to buy in way more then 100bb in live games . kinda crazy to see people @ 1/2 buying in by the thousands
