Help me out please.

Postby J-ustin-lee » Sun Mar 13, 2011 8:23 pm

hey guys, can some online grinder help me out..

i'm playing NL4 6-max and there is two players that keep on 4-bet me preflop when i'm in button or cut off (want to steal blind).. there was quite a few time where i shove and he folded.(with at least A10o)
I try calling a few times but he just C-bet pot size on flop when i most likely has only two over cards, wad should i do? how do i handle this kind of players?

There is always an option to leave the table since you are playing online.

Use masking tape cover your hole cards on your computer screen, play without fear while you are not seeing the cards.

if their 4bet is higher than 12%, shove any pairs 77+ and AQ+, their hands are obivously crap. If their 3bet above 15%, shove also. no need to 4bet it.

Or avoid them who have stats above. Simple enough.

if you call preflop, they cb, if u have hands, just 3bet him on flop and see what the turn is, he check, u bet. and if he bet, u fold,
depend on the position.

Just be tigher on co, button against such people, it only work on people who have high fold to 3bet etc.

do use stats with a pinch of salt . The higher the sample size , the more accurate it would help you guesstimate , assuming your opponent's strategy doesn't change

ops assume if i have HEM. :).

Assume if i don't have hem or tracker, i would avoid these people who are known to 3bet alot if i want to steal blinds, unless i have 88+ and AQ+ above. throw 3bet strategy on flop and decide to continue anot. Best answer already.

:P
