PokerStars - $0.05 NL (9 max) - Holdem - 8 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 3: http://www.pokertracker.com

MP+1: $2.29
CO: $5.85
BTN: $6.35
Hero (SB): $14.46
BB: $4.00
UTG: $13.21
UTG+1: $2.03
MP: $12.53

Hero posts SB $0.02, BB posts BB $0.05

Pre Flop: ($0.07) Hero has [3c] [3h]

fold, fold, MP raises to $0.10, MP+1 calls $0.10, fold, fold, Hero calls $0.08, BB calls $0.05

Flop: ($0.40, 4 players) [Jd] [2c] [7s]
Hero checks, BB checks, MP checks, MP+1 checks

Turn: ($0.40, 4 players) [3d]
Hero bets $0.28, fold, MP calls $0.28, fold

River: ($0.96, 2 players) [As]
Hero bets $0.58, MP raises to $12.15 and is all-in, fold

MP wins $2.02

He has 9/4/0 HUD stats over 93 hands.

My guess is that he had the pocket jacks or aces. Since he raised PF, checked the flop(possibly due to the flop texture, maybe to allow others to catch up/bluff?) As you can see, we were both very deep, maybe he just wants me to stack him off his nuts! Also, his stats shows that he is quite a tight player. I decided to fold as don't like to risk that much without any info of him.

Did I make the correct fold more often than not? Am I a nit? Could he have had the AJ?

He could have AK as well.

That would be sick! Don't see any value of doing it with AK?

Oh well, I would take my chances and pick better spots elsewhere.

From his preflop bet of 2BB... Dun seem do be AA.. I put him on 4 5 suited for a nut straight.. Or a small pocket pair...pocket 7s? Anyway good fold... The pot odds dun seem good to call..

It's 5NL, how many times have you seen people overplaying TPTK?

Doubt a nit will show up with 45 in that spot, and he would probably raise his set on the turn, so the most likely hand is AK IMO. If you are folding 33, are you going to fold 77 in that spot?

Yeah, I put him on pocket jacks and better.

He might have the AK but I don't like to take my chances there. There are more hands that get me crush than hands that I beat. I can only think of AK and AJ that I could win of.
Besides, I am getting only 1.18:1 on my money. Might have missed a huge pot, but I guess I will pick a better spot another time.

Saves the money and live to fight another day! :)
