bro, i think u shud have called him ler...

1. with the flop all picture cards, he can assume you have either one or at most 2 pairs (because we always think the other bugger's cards always lousy than ours mah). but i think he might have a straight at the flop and followed you at the turn... sometimes we all think no one will get a flush one lar...

2. maybe he thinks your 80c raise was a continuation bet and that his monster hand will be enuf to koyak anything you have. and then he might think even if you have flush, he might assume you have a low card flush.

3. so he bang all-in based on his straight A high ma. but hor, still got 8 lower club cards (2,4,5,7,8,9,10,J) and only 2 higher club cards leh (A,K) compared to your Qc. dat one 4x odds leh...

4. somemore he european mah... his currency still higher than SG. he lose no lose 10 bucks also... haiyo.. price of a sandwich there onli lar...

5. your downside lose abt $5 from initial principal of $10 since you win a bit oledi mar... dat one if koyak, also you still have half principal money to play on leh.

6. finally most importantly, you must kasi them angmoh kau-kau leh... esp. after what that bluddy bugger did to pluturist and stussyboi. show them like johnny chan arr... they cannot push-push you around leh... haiyo, see... for the price of a plate of woodlands nasi kandar, you sold your birthright to "action like nobody's business" leh...

7. cash game mah.. can always reload maximum again and then simply shove all-in on the next round with 2-7 off-suit pre-flop....

cheers...

definite fold for me, cos he may have had AJ suited or even AK suited (clubs).

For AK clubs, he would have flopped a monster and rivered an even bigger monster, agreed?

So good fold for me, live to fight another day bro, no value there, no pt risking $14.74 just to prove a point. :)

In my humble opinion, I think it's a good fold. Like you said he's a long run winner which means over-betting to induce a call, playing a made hand as a bluff, should definitely be in his arsenal of tricks.

it is definitely, definitely a call.. thats it.. if u play enuff, everytime, ppl make a huge overbet on the river, u fold thinking he has the nuts, ur play will be exploitable.. he could have a smaller flush. as ronshaks put it, it is cash game, not tourney. morever, u have no read on villian. if u have a read on him, and ur hud shows his river aggression is lesser than 2 for eg. wtsd is say less than 20, then a fold might be a good decision. but if no read, put ur chips in for christ sake..

My guess is that he has Axs and limp cause UTG limp.
Flop - he went to check fold.
Turn - call cause he has a nut flush draw
River - raise all in as he think I will call.

If he really want the pot that badly I'll give it to him, If he was bluffing than it's a small mistake for not calling but if I call and make a mistake thats a big mistake.

Got my pt3 back and found out I only have around 200hands on him. So I don't really know this player much.

so in other words,

so long as villian make a huge overbet on the flop or turn or river; unless u have the nuts, u will just fold? since, i cld represent a set or tubs everytime even if the board is not coordinated..

Really can't imagine a long term winner over-limping with a strong Axc preflop.
