well basically there's not resources for this, even on 2+2 for micro 2.20 hu sngs. just wanted to find out any specific strategies on this type of games.

recently been playing & i'm starting to get some ideas about the whole poker metagame. it's all starting to seem pretty mystical & philosophical to me now about how i approach it.

probably it's all based in math as well, but i'm not much of a math person :)

Heads up is like the highest variance liao.
I once dropped 3 full buy-in by 15mins before, LOL

Maybe you would wanna stick to 6-max or fullring to farm the $$ out more consistently ba ^_^

well i tilted... lost 2 $5 husng which i shouldn't have...lost to a guy who's a fish on sharkscope... which means i'm worse than fish... so basically i went ballistic with buying in at 11+ or 20+ or 40+... realised why i was doing ok at $5 if i avoided the better players there... the $20s and above are just better than me :(

check out the sharkscope :(

anyway now i'm 400 in the hole...

should i just switch to a lesser known poker site with softer players? should i just quit, it was just a hobby anyway... but i really hate losing...grr

I would say try to find your opponents weakness and exploit it, till you win them, and always remember that you don't need the nuts to win showdowns.

then again I'm not durrrr or isildur1, so I can't give the best advice.

good luck at the tables!

you can try heads up texas holdem by collin Moshman .. nice book to start with . .
btw , if you couuld nt find the book , just pm me .. i m gonna send you

heads up play is all about adjusting your game, based on your opponents tendencies .. in simple word if :(L:loose,T:tight ,Ag:aggresive, P:passive)
your opponent plays LP you have to adjust by playing TAg
you opponent plays TP you have to adjust by playing LAg
your opponents plays LAg you to adjust by playing Tag
your opponents plays TAg you have to adjust by playing LAg

the 1st and 2nd one are most profitable opponents to play against .. in the 3rd one ,you dont want to play against cuz he ll put you in too many tough decisions .

cheers
