I'll recap my points..

1) Read TA (Technical Analysis books)
2) Understand Charts (Moving Average, Japanese Candlesticks etc)
3) Learn ECONomics (somewhat important as a basic step)
4) Play only what u can afford to lose.

Abit of my old history... i wrote a "POEMS" type trading platform in my old job as a analyst programmer for oversea brokerages (indonesia, taiwan etc) when i was 22-24 so learnt all the technical stuff about trading especially in forex (calculation, swap/interest, floating etc)..... It's not a fair game slightly bias towards the house in terms of comission etc.

Just beware of the few things while trading :

NEVER believe your remister. In some bad cases remisters make customers perform several trades +- to earn comissions... once i saw a account ding-down up-down +- 20% profit/loss and in the end made around 5-10% proft for the customer but the remister has accruded almost 50-100x contract commissions....!
Cut loss early (Ie like poker)
