Notes:
· With three players remaining (as the top two both won seats to APPT Macau), the tension was high. Christopher moved all-in from the button position for 15,000 chips. Kim called from the small blind position and showed his pocket 10s. Christopher showed his suited 9 and 5 of diamonds, and needed help. The flop was 8c-Js-2d. Christopher needed running cards to win. The turn card was a 7c, giving Christopher some outs as a six or ten would make a straight. But the river brought a 8h and the tournament was over when Kim’s two pair of 8s and 10s beat Christopher’s single pair or 8s.
· $88,500 was raised for the Caritas De Macau (http://www.caritas.org.mo) charity. Caritas De Macau is a social service organization of Macau.
· Players who finished from 11th to 35th also won a $600 APPT Phase 1 Entry

Notes:
· The final hand started with blinds of 1500/3000 and a 400 ante. Celina has only 30,000 chips compared to Denny’s 125,000 chips. Celina moves all-in pre-flop with a suited A5 of hearts and Denny insta-calls with a pair of Queens. Celina failed to improve through the flop, turn and river and Denny won the 2nd Macau Cup Red Dragon Event.
· Play lasted 10.5 hours
· Ivan Tan (3rd place) was the runner-up at last year’s APPT Macau
· Other notable participants included Tony “Bond18” Dunst from Australia and Steve Chung from Hong Kong who finished 667 of 6844 players at the World Series of Poker after qualifying at PokerStars Macau last June
· Celina Lin made an impressive two final tables during the Macau Poker Cup (she was also at the final table of the Deep Stack event)
